Dave Welsch
Lead Pastor
Pastor Dave and his family joined us in 2018. He and his wife, Trisha, met in high school. They have been blessed with six children. In 2019, God led the Welsch's to begin fostering, and in October 2020, they adopted from the foster care system.
Pastor Dave started his ministry as a youth pastor and has pastored churches in Burlington, MA (suburb of Boston) and Chattanooga, TN. He has been in full-time ministry for over a decade, has a Bachelor's in Pastoral Theology, a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Theology (ThM.) and is currently finishing a Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dave is passionate about making disciples and is a faithful expositor of God’s Word.

Rob Hare
Executive Pastor
Rob joined the staff of First Baptist Heath in spring of 2013 and is passionate about making disciples of all ages and all nations, for God’s glory, starting here in Heath, Ohio. Beyond spending time with family, Rob enjoys college football, Cubs baseball, traveling, trivia, and many cups of coffee. Rob and Marci met while studying together in seminary and have been married since 2008. They have five kids Joel, Jonah, Lia-Joan, Isaiah, and Skylar as well as the blessing of being foster parents since 2017.
Rob has a B.A. in Philosophy and Religious Studies, an M.Div. in People Group Strategies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College.

Thaddeus Fields
Worship Leader
Thaddeus has been leading worship for over twenty years and joined the family at First Baptist Heath in 2023. He is passionate about all aspects of worship and enjoys encouraging others to engage in worship through song, prayer and scripture. He enjoys spending time with family, watching sports and learning new songs. He is currently working on his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
Thaddeus and his wife, Sally, met in church at the age of ten. They started dating in college and have been married for twenty years. They have four beautiful children: Jordyn, Elias, Kaylyn and Calvin. Sally has been teaching for the past twenty years at Crooksville Village Schools. They have lived in their New Lexington home for the past eight years and really enjoy the community.

Cindy Bailey
Children's Ministry Director
Chip and Cindy have been married since 1991. They have three sons, Conner, Caleb and Curtis. Cindy came to FBCH in 2016. She enjoys spending time with her family, long walks and watching her kids play sports.
Cindy has a BA in Music Ed. along with 16 years experience in daycare and serving in the children’s and youth department. The Baileys live in Heath, Ohio

Tonya Fisher
Ministry Assistant
Tonya and Scott have been married since 2002. They have two sons, Samuel and John (JD). Tonya attended First Baptist as a child and returned with her family in late 2019. Tonya recieved her degree in Business from University of Phoenix.
